Solutions
Clarification, sedimentation, and other separation processes are widely used to remove contaminants from liquids. Some systems settle solids out of the liquid stream by gravity; others use flotation methods to float the solids to the top of the basin.
We suppliy all kinds of clarifiers, separators, flotation devices, as well as a complete range of skimmers, decanters, and other ancillary equipment.
For more information about clarifiers, contact the Information Desk, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Eastern Standard Time:

Copper CMP/CMP Wastewater Treatment – A Classical Method with a Recycling Twist
We were approached by a semiconductor tool manufacturer based in Silicon Valley to assist in the design of an automated CMP and copper CMP waste treatment system. After careful economic evaluations, it became clear that the largest cost of ownership of the treatment system was the removal of the hazardous waste sludge from a classical two stage precipitation/clarification system. Any method of precipitation produces copper sludge which would be required to be handled as a hazardous waste in the state of California.
