Siemens Water Technologies was awarded a "2005 Supplier -- Outstanding Contribution Award" by Merck & Co., Inc., during the Merck 2005 Strategic Supplier Forum at the company's headquarters in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, on December 1, 2005.

Of the 65 suppliers invited to the supplier meeting, five companies, including Siemens Water Technologies, were selected as outstanding contributors and placed in the Merck Supplier Hall of Fame.  Merck said that Siemens was a "perfect example of what Merck wants in a supplier and partner."

Siemens has partnered with Merck, a global, research-driven pharmaceutical company, on many successful water treatment projects over the years, and most recently on a turnkey USP Purified Water project in Mexico.
