Featured Solutions

Description

BioMag™ and CoMag™ Magnetite Ballasted Treatment Systems

Siemens recently acquired Cambridge Water Technologies, and with it their BioMag™ and CoMag™ Magnetite Ballasted Treatment Systems.  These cost effective technologies increase capacity and contaminant removal capabilities of primary, secondary and tertiary treatment systems without adding footprint.

Municipal Water and Wastewater Treatment

Population growth is driving the need for more sustainable solutions in our plants. Learn about the water treatment solutions we provide that help our customers better conserve their water and energy resources, helping to ensure a sustainable future for today and tomorrow.

BioFlowSheet+® Solutions BioFlowSheet+® Solutions is a process optimization program that fully integrates the main unit operations of a wastewater treatment plant into a single solution.  Our process experts work with a design team to analyze the efficiency of each process choice and its interaction with the other components, while optimizing the overall efficiency of the entire system from start to finish.

SeaCURE™ Ballast Water Management System

Siemens has developed a ballast water treatment system that provides a reliable, environmentally sound solution that is designed to protect against the proliferation of aquatic invasive species.  The SeaCURE system is a further development of the Chloropac® system, which has seen 35 years of successful ship-board use for treating seawater cooling circuits. Our SeaCURE™ ballast water management system can help ship owners and operators meet new International Maritime Organization (IMO) ballast water management regulations.

IonPure® LX45HI/VRx Modules

New developments in CEDI technology including the Ionpure LX and VNX product lines. Two new products are designed for mid-range flow applications extending the LX flow capacity for pharmaceutical water. The LX 45-X module produces high purity water and is suitable for pharmaceutical as well as food and beverage applications, while the LX 45-HI introduces the option of continuous high temperature operation. Both products deliver a flow rate increase of up to 50%, in comparison with earlier LX modules which is the highest flow rate hot sanitizable phamaceutical module on the market today.

Reliable Automation Solutions

For your seawater desalination needs, Siemens can assist in reducing your energy and operational costs while ensuring that your facility is operating effciently.  With our COMOS and SIMATIC PCS 7 solutions, Siemens can offer integrated engineering with central data management for plant engineers and operators.  Stop by our booth to learn more and also discuss our water transport and distribution solutions to optimize water networks.

Anaerobic Digestion and Biosolids Minimization

Siemens combines technological expertise and process experience to deliver a decentralized renewable energy resource.  Learn about the energy efficiency aspects of the Crown® Disintegration System which increases the gas yield from the anerobic digester by as much as 30% and reduces sludge for disposal by up to 20%.

Memcor® CP Pressurized Membrane System

The Memcor® CP membrane is pressurized, pre-engineered membrane system with a modular "building block" configuration which simplifies design, operation and reduces installation costs.  Memcor CP systems are available in configurations containing up to 960 L20 ultrafiltration modules in one unit and fit in potable, wastewater reuse, pre-treatment to RO in desalination and industrial applications.  Siemens recently introduced the 'N' family of Memcor ultrafiltration modules, representing the  the latest advancements in membrane technolgoy.  The enhanced PVDF membrane offers increased permeability to further reduce ownership costs associated with membrane systems.

 Research and Development

Siemens research and development is providing sustainable, innovative solutions to our customers. With approximately 2100 patents and trademarks, 7 competence centers, 12 locations, and 151 people located throughout the world focused on waste reduction, energy and process efficiency, desalination and water reuse we have the innovative solutions to deliver reliable water supply and treatment, precise water quality, cost efficient systems and services, and minimized costs with the lowest environmental impact.

 Lower Cost Odor Control Answers

Learn more about our Vapor and Liquid Odor Control Businesses and our ability to offer odor control service while integrating remote monitoring to offer lower cost solutions.

   Vanox™ Systems

The Vanox™ advanced oxidation process (AOP) system is  an effective method for removing total organic carbon (TOC) in point-of-use (POU) ultraure water treatment system for microelectronic applications.  Our proprietary advanced oxidation process – the Vanox™ POU system – can consistently reduce TOC to 0.5 parts per billion (ppb) and treat seasonal TOC variations in feed water. This is important because TOC elevations above 1.0 ppb can directly affect the manufacturing process, significantly impacting product yields.  Vanox™ systems are a proven, reliable, cost effective for the semiconductor market

Automation Control Solution with Ethernet Technology
We will showcase the latest development in Automation Control Systems, PCS 7 V8. This latest version of Siemens DCS supports communication over PROFINET to distributed I/O and field instruments, giving better network flexibility, reliability, and faster maintenance and operation.
   Energy Management (With CS)
The energy management demo we will have on display will provide an overview of Siemens solutions for energy monitoring and reporting, as well as the possible options to save energy through better product techology, application design, or energy recovery solutions.
