VX-456 Odor Control

As delivered, VX-456 reacts rapidly with sulfides and other odor-causing compounds commonly found in wastes.  VX-456 continues  to control odors for an extended period of time (up to 72 hours).  It does not contribute to solids formation and does not interfere with further processing of waste.  It is generally applied using custom designed feed systems.

• It is a  selective oxidant with specificity to sulfides and related organic odor causing compounds.
• It does not form chlorinated organics.
