Drying

Our sludge dryers and drying filter presses have demonstrated proven performance in thousands of municipal and industrial applications.  Each offers its own merits as a stand-alone product, while creating additional synergy of cost-reduction and dewatering effectiveness when integrated into turnkey systems.

J-Mate® Continuous Sludge Dryer
The J-Mate continuous dryer further reduces sludge volume and weight utilizing infrared heat.

J-Mate® Batch Sludge Dryer
The J-Mate batch drying system further dewaters cake solids with low temperature air.

J-Vap® Dewatering and Drying System
The J-Vap performs dewatering and drying in one system using a filter press and vacuum drying.

Dragon Dryer
The Dragon Dryer® Indirect Rotating Chamber Biosolids Dryer is an efficient heat drying system, designed to minimize the consumption of energy, maximize the reduction of biosolids volume, protect the environment from unwanted emissions, and offer a high degree of system safety and reliability.

Convective Thermal Dryer
The Convective Thermal Dryer (CTD) is a complete Triple Pass biosolids drying system that produces a +92% dry pelletized product that exceeds EPA 40 CFR Part 503 Class “A” regulations. The energy efficient drying system provides the ability to use waste heat and/or digester gas to reduce operating costs. Energy recovery is one of the standard offerings with this innovative system. This is the next step in biosolids handling.

Contact Surface Dryer
The Contact Surface Dryer is a system specifically designed as an indirect thermal dryer that can remove water from residual wastewater solids. The Contact Surface Dryer system greatly reduces the off gases to be treated thereby reducing system capital costs.

Ecoflash Dryer
The Siemens Thin Layer Dryer (Ecoflash) is designed to allow for heat drying using a thermal transfer fluid (hot oil) or saturated steam.
