HOLLAND, Mich., Sept. 14, 2004 – USFilter introduces its new, complete pre-assembled dewatering package – the Centrapac™ centrifuge dewatering system--which provides simple installation and efficient operation in one complete package.
To create the package system, USFilter mounted its state-of-the-art Centramax™ centrifuge on a skid with all necessary ancillary equipment. All piped and wired, from feed pump to cake transfer, the system is pre-engineered and ready to go, with minimal on-site installation requirements.
Ideal for small municipalities and industrial biological waste generators, the Centrapac centrifuge dewatering system is configured to customers’ needs and is flexible to accommodate changes in process volumes, varying particle sizes and sludge types.
Along with the centrifuge, the pre-engineered package system includes a scroll drive unit, feed pump, flowmeter, discharge screw conveyor, polymer system and a PLC control system. The system consists of all stainless steel wetted parts, and features tungsten carbide wear protection as a standard. Its fully enclosed construction is perfect for odor control management.
A new two-page flyer highlighting the USFilter Centrapac centrifuge dewatering system is now available. The full-color brochure lists the dimensions of the different models, illustrating the small footprint of this compact system. The product line is available in the North American market only.
