Electrocatalytically selective OPTIMA anodes have proven themselves to be superior to conventional nickel, lead, lead alloy, steel, graphite and magnetite anodes. Unlike these disposable products, OPTIMA anodes employ recoatable titanium and other high-value metal substrates, which provide excellant stability in agressive alkaline or acid baths.
- Substrate - OPTIMA anodes are a one-time investment. They can be recoated for a fraction of the cost of replacing worn-out conventional anodes.
- Labor - With OPTIMA anodes, the sludge commonly caused by conventional anodes, e.g., nickel, lead steel, and magnetite, is virtually nonexistent, saving you not only the cost of labor-intensive sludge removal, but the high cost of anode disposal as well.
- Manufacturing - Because OPTIMA anodes are titanium based, they experience no lead or other heavy metal contaminant buildup.
- Environmental Liability - OPTIMA anodes are free of the hazardous waste sludge produced by conventional anodes.
- Energy - The activated anode coatings offer a high degree of energy efficiency.
