The VP series is a pleated, hydrophobic, PTFE, Teflon membrane rated at 0.2 µm absolute for sterile air filtration.
Siemens Water Technologies offers a variety of filter cartridge replacements and housings to meet specific configurations and filtration needs. The VP Series Vent filter cartridges are integrity tested and fully validated by bacterial challenge (HIMA). Filter components meet the criteria of the USP Class VI biological test for plastics. This cartridge includes prevention of bacterial grownthrough by Brevundimonas diminuta for at least 21 days @ a challenge level ³ 1 x 107 CFU/cm2.
