History of Microfloc Products

Microfloc was started in Corvallis, OR with a focus on high-rate water treatment systems. Current product line focus is on packaged plants for municipal and industrial water treatment and wastewater reuse. Through company acquisitions, enclosed screw pumps and composting systems for wastewater treatment have been added.

High-rate water treatment remains a strong part of our product line with a focus on package treatment systems. Microfloc developments common in today's water treatment industry include:

Tube settlers - increased settling area per footprint
Mixed media - intermixed multiple layer filter media for improved particle removal
Buoyant media adsorption clarifier - floating media for flocculated particulate removal

Microfloc products had relocated offices from Corvallis to New Brighton, MN and currently is located in Shrewsbury, MA. Sales and manufacturing support of the equipment is also provided out of Ames, IA and Colorado Springs, CO.
