Permutit PAS Deaerating Heater - Principles of Operation

PAS deaerating heaters remove oxygen, free carbon dioxide and other non-condensable gases from make-up water used for boiler feed, as well as from return condensate.  Removal of these corrosive gases protects piping, pumps, boilers and condensate return lines from corrosion.

PAS deaerating heaters combine simplicity and compactness with high performance and operational efficiency.  The PAS product line includes  low-headroom horizontal deaerating heaters of unsurpassed value, especially where space is of prime importance and are ideal for low-pressure boiler plants.  With flow rates from 18 to 300 gpm, some PAS benefits:
