Packed Tower Odor Control System

Conventional packed tower wet scrubber systems can handle very large air volumes - up to 70,000 CFM. Siemens offers an improved version of the traditional packed tower design, featuring an extended sump at the base of the tower. The sump deck allows for use of low-maintenance, vertical seal-less pumps, and provides safe, easy access to instrumentation.

We have designed and built more than 100 packed tower scrubber systems, ranging in size from 1,000 to 67,000 CFM, and from single packed towers to facilities housing 38 packed towers arranged in parallel trains.

Our packed tower system is a once-through, counter-current scrubber manufactured of premium vinyl ester FRP. It consists of a single stage of gas absorption, integral sump, mist eliminator, exhaust fan, exhaust stack, recirculation and metering pumps, piping, valves, fittings, instrumentation and controls to make a complete and functional system.
