Siemens Water Technologies offers the full line of Westates™ brand activated carbons. AquaCarb®1240 is a high activity granular activated carbon manufactured from select grades of bituminous coal. Ideally suited for the removal of a broad range of organic contaminants from potable, waste and process waters.
AquaCarb® 1240 is a high activity, 12 x 40 mesh size granular activated carbon manufactured from select grades of bituminous coal. Manufactured by direct activation, this carbon exhibits exceptional hardness and attrition resistance characteristics. These high surface area, microporous carbons have been specifically developed for the removal of a broad range of organic contaminants from potable, waste and process waters. All AquaCarb® activated carbons are extensively QA/QC tested at our state-certified environmental and carbon testing laboratory. Our complete quality control analyses uses ASTM standard testing methods to assure the consistent quality of AquaCarb® products.
