| The wet oxidation/hydrolysis pilot units are constructed of high strength, corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel, inconel, and titanium. | |
Continuous flow pilot studies are:
- performed under a wide range of operating conditions using temperatures up to 350°C (665°F), and pressures up to 240 bar (3500 psi)
- conducted using a variety of oxidants including compressed air, oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, or under strict hydrolysis conditions without an oxidant
- customized to suit your needs.
Developmental programs and pilot studies are performed by our full-time staff of pilot plant engineers and operators. Testing is usually performed using an around-the-clock operating schedule, coupled with modern, computerized control and data acquisition. On-site analytical resources provided by our Enviroscan Services' detailed sample analysis allows dynamic operating and configurational adjustments during testing for the optimization of a final design.
Our pilot plant is RCRA Part B permitted by the US EPA and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Hazardous waste handling capabilities include a specifically designed and engineered hazardous waste warehouse with refrigerated storage, along with 14,612 gallons (55.3 m3) of on-site hazardous waste storage tankage.
Additionally, a portable pilot plant unit is available for on-site treatability studies.
