Today, Westates Carbon has locations across the country; comprehensive laboratory services including computer modeling, treatability studies and technical support; a licensed hazardous water transportation and field service capability; and owns three fully permitted and licensed carbon reactivation facilities.

Westates Carbon was acquired by the former USFilter Corporation in December 1996 as part of Wheelabrator Water Systems and Manufacturing Group. USFilter was acquired by Siemens in July 2004 and operates as Siemens Water Technologies.
