Westates Carbon was acquired by the former USFilter Corporation in December 1996.  Since July 2004, following aquisition by Siemens Corporation, the Westates Carbon product line operates as part of Siemens' Water Technologies division.

In addition to an extensive offering of both liquid and vapor phase granular activated carbons (GAC), Siemens offers removable and permanent carbon adsorber systems and a full compliment of operating, maintenance and laboratory services.
