Drinking Water Chemical Feed and Control

Chemical feed and control systems are a vital component in all drinking water treatment applications.   Each chemical has its own unique set of challenges that must be taken into consideration in the design, selection and application of the feed system.  No matter what chemical you are dosing, safety, reliability and precise control are required to optimize the treatment objective and reduce operating costs.

Used for precise control over water quality, these systems must also include online measurement and control ensuring safe and reliable operation. Our extensive portfolio of solutions is designed to meet all of your gas, liquid, dry and polymer feed requirements.

Typical water treatment chemicals include:
-Gas phase chlorine, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide or ammonia
-Liquid phase hypochlorite, sulfates/sulfites, corrosion inhibitors, acids, caustics, antiscalants and antifoaming agents.

Technologies in our chemical feed and control portfolio include:
Gas Feed Systems
Chemical Induction Systems
Analyzers and Process Controllers

Gas feed systems can pose serious health and safety risks.  They can also be a challenge to control accurately and reliably with varying pressures from the supply to the point of injection.

With over 95 years of experience, we pioneered the solution to these challenges.  Our gas feed systems operate using the all-vacuum principle, eliminating pressurized supply lines from the gas cylinder up to the injection point.

Chemical induction systems play an important role in chemical feed and control applications.  As costs for specialty treatment chemicals continue to rise, realizing the most efficient use of these includes dilution, injection and mixing.

Our Water Champ® vacuum chemical induction system features an innovative design for superior mixing characteristics providing near perfect and instantaneous mixing.  The result - precise control, reduced chemical waste and improved chemical efficacy.
