Laboratory Water

General laboratory analysis, glassware washing/rinsing, buffer preparation, general purpose HPLC, flame AA, electrochemistry, spectrophotometry or pretreatment to a polisher all require high purity water to ensure quality and consistent results.

RO Water Purification

Whether you need Type II, III or IV water, we offer laboratory water purification systems that will meet your demanding specifications.

CENTRA® packaged central laboratory water systems are designed to supply pure water to one or more laboratories in a building.
PURELAB® Prima reverse osmosis water purification systems deliver type III/IV primary grade water from a tap feed.
PURELAB Option-S water purifiers combine pretreatment, reverse osmosis and ionic/organic removal in a single unit to deliver better than single distilled quality water from a potable water source.  The Option-R adds a recirculation feature to deliver better than double distilled quality water.
Stand alone storage reservoirs are specially designed for storing purified water, and can be wall mounted to save valuable bench space.
Modular docking vessels are state-of-the-art high-purity water storage reservoirs designed to accommodate the PURELAB Ultra, Option, Prima and the MEDICA™ water purification systems.
Replacement cartridges for laboratory water purification systems are designed for PURELAB, Modulab, and competitor systems.
Water One™ Operating Contracts allow customers to focus on their core business while we take responsibility for operating and maintaining their water treatment system.

Laboratory Water Case Study:

PURELAB® Option-Q Helps Montgomery County Solve Their Crimes

The Montgomery County Crime Lab needed a high purity water purification system that could supply Type 1 water (from tap feed) for their new laboratory.

The crime lab is part of the Rockville, Maryland County Police Department and has 5 DNA analysts who analyze evidence for the presence of biological stains. Type 1 water is needed because it contains extremely low levels of ions, bacteria, organics, and particulates. Contaminants such as bacteria and enzymes such as DNase can destroy or degrade DNA. To remove these, the water must be treated with a combination of technologies to meet the lab's needed purity level. The PURELAB® Option-Q water purification system was the perfect fit.
