Microfiltration Performance Enhancement Using an Air-Scour, Air-Assisted Liquid Backwash Regime

This paper presents recent advancements in the MEMCOR® membrane filtration process. The new Memcor CMF-L (Now called MEMCOR® XP) process incorporates an improved membrane technology with a low-pressure liquid backwash regime that uses less energy and increases water recovery. Suitable for new installations or retrofit of existing ones, this process reduces capital and operating costs of membrane filtration systems.
