Drinking Water Treatment – Fluoridation
Drinking Water Fluoridation is the process by which fluoride is added to drinking water for the purpose of preventing tooth decay.

Fluoride is usually added after the disinfection process. In the United States, fluoridation is usually accomplished by the addition of hexafluorosilic acid which decomposes in water, yielding fluoride ions.
Siemens helps water treatment plants meet these and other requirements with a full range of:

  • Pumps
  • Controller
  • Analyzers
  • Feeders

Siemens also provides pilot treatment systems and analytical testing to document the efficacy of treatment prior to installation.
