	Wastewater Treatment – Dissolved Oxygen Addition

Wastewater aeration allows water treatment facilities to discharge wastewater of a higher quality. Aeration is the addition of dissolved oxygen (DO), or the amount of free oxygen in solution in water, or wastewater effluent. Better quality wastewater can be achieved through Siemens aeration applications.

Adequate concentrations of dissolved oxygen are necessary for fish and other aquatic organisms to live and to prevent offensive odors.

Siemens is experienced in products and systems that enable wastewater treatment operations to increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in effluents and thereby meet water quality standards. Our offerings include a wide range of diffusers and aeration systems.
