    A faulty secondary digester cover at a wastewater treatment plant was not providing sufficient gas storage for cogeneration. Siemens Water Technologies installed a Dystor membrane gas holder cover with support dome. The upgraded facility’s operating pressure was structurally compatible with existing covers, allowed for sludge level variance throughout the entire side-wall depth of the digester, and saved the city $9,000 a month in electrical costs.  More
