Siemens Water Technologies is the exclusive provider of Westates® brand activated carbon adsorbers. The Aqua-Scrub® series carbon adsorbers are designed for use as a temporary or permanent treatment step in a variety of low flow and low pressure water treatment applications.
Available in three models with carbon amounts ranging from 200 to 2000 pounds per adsorber, Aqua-Scrub® carbon adsorbers are designed for a wide variety of water applications including groundwater remediation, wastewater filtration, tank rinsing, pilot testing, leachate treatment, leaking underground storage tanks, and spill cleanups. The series is rated for flow ranges of 10 to 100 gpm and designed for operating pressures of 3 to 25 psig. The units are shipped filled with dry activated carbon and must be properly wetted and deaerated prior to use. Optional piping manifolds can be provided to operate as a system in series or parallel configurations.
