The Envirex® Chain & Scraper Sludge Collector system is suited for primary, secondary, storm water collection and water plant service. It provides maximum sludge concentrations and scum or floating solids removal with minimal fuss, regardless of the size or application.
The Envirex® Chain & Scraper system has proven reliability, high quality and cost economies for both new and existing rectangular clarifier installations. Every part is rigorously tested by Siemens before being incorporated into the system. To operate, fiberglass flights mounted on two parallel strands of metallic or non-metallic chain scrape the settled solids along the tank floor to sludge hoppers. On the return run, the flights can skim the surface and concentrate the floating material at a scum removal device.
