DeIonization Recirculating Systems - DIRS - are economical, pre-packaged water purification systems that produce 5 to 50 gpm of high-purity water. Depending on water quality requirements, the systems allow for several different field configurations to accommodate your specific requirements.
For ease and versatility of operation, DIRS systems are controlled by a PLC integral to the skid with control programming that allows for system operation in any of the configurations without software alterations. In addition to our standard systems, customized systems with higher flow rates, a variety of plumbing options and other components are also available with little or no impact to lead times.
With fast delivery, quick installation and startup (typically less than one day needed for the system to be in operation), DeIonization Recirculating Systems (DIRS) also feature: -
Leak-safe operation, as the system automatically shuts down in the event of catastrophic line failure -
Small footprint and skid-mounted system to reduce usage of valuable floor space -
PLC controls that allow for multiple field configurations without altering the control system hardware -
UL and Seismic Zone 4 compliance to satisfy regional permitting regulations -
Powder-coated steel frames for maximum support of the DIRS, while allowing easy access for maintenance and operation -
Schedule 80 PVC piping, with optional pigmented polypropylene (PP) for the post-treatment -
Fully assembled system that is wired and hydrostatically pressure tested prior to shipment and protected with heat-shrink wrapping prior to shipment -
Complete documentation package including installation, start-up and operation procedures, flow rate charts, process and instrument diagrams (P&ID), electrical schematics and quality assurance data reports
