The Series 50.200 Evaporator is an electrically heated immersed tank heat exchanger for use with liquid chlorine, ammonia, or sulfur dioxide.
The following components are included as standard:
- an external water bath heater
- water bath tank
- ASME rated vaporizing chamber
- NEMA 4 control panel with disconnect switch
- gas pressure relief system
- liquid line pressure relief system
- hot water recirculating pump
- electronic temperature switches
- alternate bottom connection
- unpowered customer alarm contacts for high and low water temperature and low water level
- two chlorine line valves.
Maximum capacities are 6000, 8000 and 10,000 pounds of chlorine; 4500, 6000, and 7500 pounds of sulfur dioxide; or 1,260, 1680 and 2100 pounds of ammonia per 24 hours.
