- Complete inactivation of waterborne pathogens including protozoa such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
- Added safety i.e. multiple barrier approach.
- Control of disinfection by-products.

The compact Barrier® M UV System range is designed with powerful medium-pressure lamps.
For countries which require independently certified systems, selected Barrier A&M models are available which have been certified to DVGW W294 protocol which guarantees disinfection performance at specific flow rates and water qualities.
Single unit capacities up to 1150 m3/h (7.2 US MGD) at a UV dose of 400J/m2 (Transmittance = 98%).
