    AquaCarb® 1240AW Coal-Based Granular Activated Carbon

    AquaCarb® 1240AW is a high activity, acid-washed granular activated carbon media manufactured from select grades of anthracite coal. Ideal for the removal of a broad range of organic contaminants from potable, waste and process water.

    AquaCarb® 1240AW acid-washed granular carbon
    AquaCarb® 1240AW is a high purity, 12 x 40 mesh size, acid-washed carbon manufactured by a re-agglomeration process and exhibits exceptional hardness and attrition resistance characteristics.  These high surface area, microporous carbons have been specifically developed for the removal of a broad range of organic contaminants from potable, waste and process waters. 

    All AquaCarb® activated carbons are extensively QA/QC tested at our state-certified environmental and carbon testing laboratory.  Our complete quality control analyses uses ASTM standard testing methods to assure the consistent quality of AquaCarb products..
