BevCarb® 1240 Coal-Based Granular Activated Carbon for the Beverage Market

BevCarb® 1240 is a high activity, acid-washed granular activated carbon media manufactured from select grades of anthracite coal. Specifically developed for the preparation of high purity water for use in the manufacture of beverages.

Siemens Water Technologies features Westates™  brand granular activated carbons.  BevCarb®1240 is a high purity, 12 x 40 mesh size, acid-washed carbon manufactured specifically for the preparation of high purity water for use in the manufacture of beverages.  It is especially effective for adsorbing chlorine, chloramines, disinfection by-products, and other trace level organics from municipal water.

BevCarb® activated carbon is extensively QA/QC tested at our state-certified environmental and carbon testing laboratory.  Our complete quality control analyses uses ASTM standard testing methods to assure the consistent quality of our BevCarb product.
