Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) Systems for Food & Beverage Applications

The Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) Integrated Wastewater Treatment System, combines the attached growth airlift reactor process with Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) clarification. 

MBBR System

This pre-engineered wastewater treatment system is the latest in fixed film technology where suspended biomass carriers are designed to create a large surface area for biofilm growth.  Benefits include an enhanced biological wastewater treatment process without increasing the plant footprint.   Additionally, DAF clarification provides a more robust level of solids separation with a decreased volume of solids for disposal.  This pre-engineered system is ideal for food and beverage applications that require pretreatment prior to discharge to a municipal sewer system.

The MBBR integrated system includes screening, influent equalization, the MBBR process, a DAF clarifier system, aerated sludge holding basin and intergrated control system.  With a fast-track delivery, this pre-engineered system ensures that the installation and site work are kept to a minimum, providing one of the most cost-effective treatment systems and approaches available in the market.
