Portacel® Cherwell V Changeover System

The Portacel® Cherwell V Changeover System manufactured by Siemens Water Technologies is designed for vacuum dosing systems with flow rates from 25 g/h (13ppd) to 12 kg/h (633ppd). It is a safe, simple means of automating small disinfection plants by providing a changeover facility between duty and standby gas supplies.

The Cherwell V Changeover System is connected to two vacuum regulators and a gas doser. The vacuum created by an ejector opens the vacuum regulator and draws gas from the duty gas cylinder. This passes through the Cherwell V system to the doser where the flow rate of gas is controlled.
