Series 50-200 Evaporator for Liquid CL2, NH3 and SO2

Wallace & Tiernan® 50-200 Evaporator is an electrically heated immersed-tank type heat exchanger. It is used whenever the rate of unaided gas withdrawal from multiple containers is not fast enough to keep up with requirements.

Series 50-200 Evaporator System

The Series 50-200 Evaporator is an electrically heated immersed tank heat exchanger for use with liquid chlorine, ammonia, or sulfur dioxide.

The following components are included as standard:

external water bath heater

water back tank

ASME rated vaporizing chamber

NEMA® 4 control panel with disconnect switch

gas pressure relief system

liquid line pressure relief system

hot water recirculating pump

electronic temperature switches

alternate bottom connection

unpowered customer alarm contacts for high and low water temperature and low water level

two chlorine line valves

Nema® 4 control panel with fused disconnect switch

Standard gas pressure and liquid line relief systems

Complete pre-wiring of all electrical components

Conforms to ASME code and Chlorine Institute recommendations

External water heater to the water bath to eliminate possible hot spots

Standard gas and temperature gauges, high and low alarm switches for temperature and low water level.
