The Wallace&Tiernan® Series 50-204 Automatic Switchoever System is designed to give uninterupted chlorine, sulfur dioxide or ammonia supply.

Wallace & Tiernan® Series 50-204 Automatic Changeover System is designed for use on ton container, tank cars and other large gas or liquid chlorine, ammonia or sulfur dioxide supplies. It provides automatic changeover to a fresh supply when the on-line supply runs out.

The system’s two motorized ball valves are monitored and controlled from a single panel. They are ideal ahead of gas feeder-evaporator combinations; one system can supply up to 10 manifolded evaporators.

The system includes a control panel for wall mounting (an optional free standing module is available), two ball valves with actuators, a diaphragm-protected pressure switch, and two liquid line pressure relief systems.

Can be used for liquid ammonia or sulfur dioxide. Maximum capacity of the system is 100,000 pounds (45,400 kg) of liquid chlorine per 24 hrs.
