CO2 vs. Acid
Our CO2 feed systems will resolve the problems associated with storage and the use of acid. CO2 is considered to be easy to use — very safe to handle and store. Its use alone makes it virtually impossible to lower the pH of pool and spa water below 6.0. Extreme caution must be used to ensure safe handling and storage when using acid. Telltale signs of pool and spa facilities that employ acid as the method of pH adjustment are:

• Roughening or eating away of pool/spa finish surfaces
• Corroding/leaking plumbing
• Shortened life for recirculation pumps
• Shortened life of filter systems
• Shortened life of heat exchangers
• Corroding electrical devices, conduit, and mechanical room structural supports
• Etching and destruction of equipment room concrete floors.

CO2-3 and CO2-9	Rate of gas flow meters with adjustable flow control
CO2-7 and CO2-8	Available with heater elements to prevent regulator freeze up that may occur in high use applications using single or dual high pressure storage tank systems.
CO2 450 lb Bulk Storage Tank	Designed to supply CO2 continuously, even under high demand situations. Fully automatic and require no electrical connections or heaters.
CO2 750 lb Bulk Storage Tank	Designed to supply CO2 continuously, even under high demand situations. Fully automatic and require no electrical connections or heaters.
Regulators & Switchover Systems
CO2-5	Adjustable single tank regulator is equipped with tank and output pressure gauges.
CO2-6	Manual switchover system for use with dual CO2 pressure cylinder systems are equipped with tank and output pressure gauges.
CO2-10	Fully automatic switchover system is for use with dual CO2 pressure cylinder systems. Equipped with tank pressure gauges. May be used in conjunction with Strantrol® CO2-5 tank regulators.
CO2-7 and CO2-9	Feed systems available with electric line heater elements. Allow for high volume feed rates of 20-200 SCFH, which prevent CO2 feed lines from freezing
