OSEC®-BP Systems provide continuous production of sodium hypochlorite solution from salt, water and electricity through the electrolysis of prepared brine solution.

OSEC BP Electrolytic System

The Wallace & Tiernan OSEC® BP system is a low capacity system available in capacities from 12 to 48 lbs. of equivalent chlorine per day. It produces a concentration of hypochlorite between 0.7 and 0.9 %. Since the concentration is much lower than that of commercial hypochlorite, it is therefore far less hazardous and not subject to the same degree of decomposition.

It utilizes interleaved bi-polar electrode plate technology to ensure greater electrolysis efficiency and to avoid the need of joining individual anode and cathode plates within the cell pack.

The basic components are suitable for wall mounting by the customer.. This flexibility enables the system to be configured to fit any installation constraints where space is minimal.

Anodes are warranteed for 2 full years and 5 years pro-rated.
Automatic Operation—the production of sodium hypochlorite is controlled automatically from the level in the product tank. System conditions are monitored continuously by the control panel which provides an alarm in the event of a malfunction. Alarm lights identify the type of malfunction. This assists in quick troubleshooting.
