PV Series Pleated Hydrophilic PVDF Media Filter Cartridge

The PV series is a validated, pleated hydrophilic PVDF cartridge absolute rated at 0.2 umrated and suitable for pharmaceutical-grade applications.

We offer a variety of filter cartridge replacements and housings to meet specific configurations and filtration needs.

The PV series are absolute rated filters that offer superior bacteria and particle removal for pharmaceutical applications. It features a validated hydrophilic PVDF membrane over a non-woven polypropylene support layer. A validation certificate is available to support the bacteria challenge results.

The PV series is available in Code 0, Code 5, and Code 7 configurations in 10, 20 30, and 40-in lengths. Filters are 100% tested in manufacturing to ensure absolute bacteria retention with typical titre reduction of >107/cm2; Quantitative retention of 107 CFU/cm2 Brevundimonas diminuta ATCC® 19146 per ASTM methodology. Component materials meet the criteria of the USP <88> Reactivity Test for Class VI Plastics and USP <88> Safety Test, utilizing a 0.9% sodium chloride extraction. Component materials also meet the “non-fiber releasing” criteria as defined in 21 CFR 210.3 (b) (6) and the USP Oxidizable Substances Test requirements after a water flush of <1 L.
