Engineered Stainless Steel Design (ESSD) Troughs

ESSD washtroughs and collectors provide a high quality, low cost, engineered product that is economical and versatile. ESSD troughs can be provided with v-notch weir plates or orifices when used for clarifiers, and with MULTIWASH Baffles when used for gravity filters.

Washtrough and launder systems are constructed entirely of light gauge stainless steel. Troughs come with a hanging system that allows precise leveling. If desired, ESSD troughs can be provided with adjustable v-notch weirs or drilled orifices.

ESSD washtroughs and launders are used in gravity filters and clarifier basins for collection of flow. Stainless steel construction allows for field attachment of baffling systems, surface washer piping and never needs painting. While Type 304 stainless steel is standard, other grades may be used to meet project requirements. In numerous cases, the economical design has been proven over fiberglass offerings.
