    Packaged Water Treatment Plants

Packaged drinking water treatment plants are safe, reliable and cost effective, specifically geared for the needs of small communities. We know it is sometimes difficult to comply with current and future regulations. That’s why we have developed packaged water treatment systems that take the guesswork out of solving your contaminated drinking water problems.

    Trident HS Package Water Plant

Siemens Water Technologies provides you with the peace of mind that your packaged drinking water treatment challenges will be handled professionally, reliably, safely and in complete environmental compliance.

Choosing the Right Packaged Water Plant for Your Community or Business

The right treatment technology package for your water needs is dependent on a number of factors, including raw water source, flow rate and effluent requirements.  In order to determine what type of water treatment technology accurately suits your situation, it is important that you first analyze the quality of your incoming water supply.  This ensures the water treatment equipment you purchase will meet your specific water quality needs.  If you need help determining your water analysis, we can assist in analyzing and reporting your water sample.

The various technologies shown below treat specific types of contaminants. Since no single technology solves all contaminant issues, it may be necessary to combine several technologies into an integrated water treatment system.

AERALATER® Packaged Iron and Manganese Removal
AERALATER® is a packaged iron and manganese water filtration system that combines aeration, detention, and filtration in a single package. Pre-engineered designs to 600 gpm (136 m3/hr) will ship assembled to 400 gpm (91 m3/hr).

Aquarius™ Flocculation, Sedimentation and Filtration in Packaged Configuration
Water filtration using the Aquarius system provides high quality water treatment with minimal footprint and ceiling height. The 350 to 1400 gpm automated two tank system assures quality while the packaged system minimizes installation costs.

Multi-Tech™ Clarification & Filtration Systems in Packaged Pressure Configurations
Water filtration and clarification in a three tank pressure vessel arrangement provides high quality water treatment with minimal footprint. Small footprint and modular construction makes installation more cost effective. There is a flow rate of 45 to 770 gpm treatment per train.

Water Boy® System Delivers Small Packaged Flow Treatment
Water Boy® is a smaller version of the Aquarius model that is more suitable for small communities, low flow industrial applications, resorts, and recreation sites. There are four standard sizes for 10-100 gpm (2.3-23 m3/hr) per unit.

Tri-Mite™ Factory Assembled Packaged Water Treatment Plant
When Tri-Mite™ technology was first introduced, it presented a significant advance in water and wastewater treatment methods. Five standard sizes, from 50 – 350 gpm per unit, treat  < 100 NTU or < 50 Color Units source waters.

Trident® HS Provides Unmatched Multi-Barrier Water Treatment
The Trident® HS represents the latest advancement in the Trident® pre-engineered system family. We have enhanced the capabilities of the Trident® system with the addition of a tube clarifier to the front end. The system provides economical treatment of up to 400 NTU or 100 Color Units source waters, and treats flows of 350 to 4200 GPM.

Trident® HSC - High-Rate Multi-Barrier Clarification for Water and Wastewater Treatment
Introducing the Trident® HSC, the latest addition to the Trident® HS line.  The multi-barrier clarification system yields high performance while minimizing risk of process upset.  Systems are provided in pre-engineered steel tanks (0.5-2.0 MGD per unit) or concrete basins (5 MGD to 20 MGD per unit).

Depending on how critical or unique your water quality needs are, you may want to contract for a pilot treatment system and analytical testing to document the efficacy of treatment prior to installation.

Packaged Water Treatment Plants Case Study

Tri-Town Water District Expands Capacity While Decreasing Water Plant Footprint

The Tri-Town Water District serves the towns of Addison, Bridport and Shoreham, Vermont.  The original conventional water treatment plant was built in 1966 to treat surface water from Lake Champlain and produced an average of 765,000 gallons per day (2.8 MLD) with a peak summer demand of about 1,000,000 gallons per day (3.8 MLD). In 1999, the District hired Otter Creek Engineering Inc. to do an evaluation of the facility.  It was determined that the treatment system, particularly the clarification step, needed improvement; and the plant needed more capacity for future growth. The plant capacity was 1.1 MGD (4.2 MLD) and growth projections dictated that they expand the plant capacity to 1.9 MGD (7.2 MLD). Accomplishing this task was more difficult since the site ruled out expansion to the existing plant footprint, and the owner needed to produce water during the construction phase of the project.
