AQUIT® solution is a metabolic modifier that cost-effectively prevents formation of hydrogen sulfide in wastewater systems by interrupting the sulfate respiration of sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB).  Simply stated, AQUIT® solution causes the SRB to shift their respiration and "block" their ability to reduce sulfate to sulfide, therefore, preventing the odors and corrosion associated with hydrogen sulfide presence.
