Siemens Water Technologies offers BIOXIDE-AQ® solution, a patented product which combines our BIOXIDE® and AQUIT® solutions to achieve superior odor and corrosion control.   BIOXIDE® solution safely and effectively removes existing dissolved sulfide from the wastewater stream, while AQUIT® solution prevents future odor and corrosion causing sulfide formation.

The BIOXIDE-AQ® solution has proven effective in many types of wastewater facilities, in widely varying flows, and in any kind of weather. 

Treatment with BIOXIDE-AQ® solution typically consists of dosing into a collection system a a few selected points located upstream from the problem facility. The combined removal and prevention benefits thereby spread throughout the collection system.  Documented results indicate that when applied, BIOXIDE-AQ® solution has reduced pretreatment dissolved hydrogen sulfide levels from 50 ppm to <0.1 ppm in numerous wastewater collection force mains, wet wells and gravity interceptors.  Additionally, many different levels of industrial discharge and compounds may be treated and/or reduced as a result of treatment with BIOXIDE-AQ® solution.
