Multi-Tank Neutralization Systems

The Multi-Tank Neutralization Systems NS (fiberglass) and NSP (HDPE) are typically used as final pH adjustment steps following conventional wastewater treatment or microfiltration systems.

The Multi-Tank Neutralization Systems include one reaction tank that is skid-mounted or supplied with a catwalk frame and are piped and wired.  The systems are designed to adjust the pH either up, down or both. 

The basic neutralization system configuration has the tank equipped with one Brawn mixer, one LMI chemical metering pump, one GLI pH probe and one GLI pH transmitter.  On NS/NSP systems less than 1,000 gallon capacity, the units are completely skid-mounted.

The skid frame supports the mixer, probes and chemical metering pump.  An additional chemical metering pump is available as an option.  The electrical control box, piping manifolds, conduit and wiring harnesses are also attached to this frame. When necessary, steps are supplied for operator access to the system.

Multi-tank neutralization systems above 1,000 gallons are designed with freestanding catwalk frames. The mixing tank is slid into place underneath the catwalk frame.
