Envirex® High Performance Peripheral Feed Clarifier

The Envirex® high performance clarifier combines the high capacity and flow rates of the Rim-Flo® clarifier with the optimum sludge removal of the Tow-Bro® unitube header to offer your plant proven performance.

Its a proven performer that has been independently tested, studied and evaluated for maximizing hydraulic and mass loading capacity, the elimination of gross short circuiting and minimum sludge blanket disturbance.

In addition, it offers a reduced overall cost to your plant through its smaller footprint and lower construction costs.

Used as a secondary activated sludge clarifier, the Rim-Flo® circular clarifier offers greater capacity, higher overflow rates, optimum hydraulic stability, full surface and feed channel skimming, maximum design versatility and lower costs.

Because of its hydraulic efficiency, a Rim-Flo® clarifier can be designed with as much as 50 percent less surface area than a conventional center feed clarifier, with a corresponding decrease in cost. The Rim-Flo clarifier also makes full use of its tank volume by eliminating short circuiting. Locating the influent and effluent channels around the tank periphery permits effective skimming of the entire tank surface as well as the influent raceway.

More than 650 basins, equipped with Rim-Flo® peripheral feed channels, have been provided around the world in sizes ranging from 15m (50ft) to 67m (220ft).

The Tow-Bro® unitube sludge removal system provides the ultimate in rapid, uniform removal of final clarifier flocculent sludges. Rapid sludge removal offers a fresher sludge, less chance for septicity, reduced aeration and thus energy requirements and the prevention of phosphate release.
