OPTIMA™Anodes for Cathodic Protection

OPTIMA™ anodes are highly efficient and have a coating manufactured with grade 1-2 titanium (ASTM B265), providing years of reliable service at current densities ranging from a few amps per square meter to 15,000 amps per square meter.

The Best Choice for Years of Reliable Operation

The OPTIMA™ IOA-HF anode offers this performance in a wide range of cathodic protection applications. OPTIMA™ IOA-HF is suitable for use in:

  • Soils
  • Carbonaceous backfill
  • Freshwater
  • Brackish water
  • Seawater

Economical Operation and Maintenance

Requiring less energy and less maintenance than other anodes, OPTIMA™ IOA-HF is the most economical anode designed for cathodic protection. Advantages over standard anodes include:

  • One-time investment. OPTIMA™ anodes are designed for recoating at a fraction of the cost of replacing spent anodes
  • Virtually nonexistent sludge formation
  • No lead or heavy metal contaminant buildup

Custom Manufacturing

Siemens Water Technologies will custom manufacture new anodes that may be needed to assure high compatibility with your custom application. The same high-quality manufacturing process is used for both custom and standard OPTIMA™ anodes. All OPTIMA™ series anodes contain high-value metal substrates to ensure high corrosion resistance.

Environmental Benefits

Siemens Water Technologies has more than 20 years of experience in helping our customers eliminate the disposal costs involved in safely eliminating soluble anodes in an environmentally friendly manner.

While the remnants of lead anodes require costly disposal, the use of OPTIMA™ IOA-HF coated titanium anodes eliminates this lead hazard.

Simply compare the cost of using our anodes to the costs involved with the installation, disposal and labor necessary to maintain a lead system to see the obvious benefits that OPTIMA™ anodes provide. When it comes to cathodic protection, only OPTIMA™ IOA-HF anodes from Siemens Water Technologies offer the reliability, economic value and satisfaction you deserve.
