RETEC® Electrolytic Heavy Metal Recovery System

The RETEC® Electrolytic Recovery System utilizes a cell that has been developed for the recovery of heavy metals and precious metals from rinse and process water utilized in electroplating shops.

The large surface area of the reticulated metal cathodes allows for the efficient recovery of metallic ions from solutions even when they are present at very low concentrations (mg/L). The loaded or fully plated cathodes can be individually removed from the cell at any time for replacement by new cathodes without interrupting the recovery process. Cathodes which are loaded with recovered metal can be sold for their recycled metal value.
