Siemens offers on-site carbon changeout services for permanent, hard-piped activated carbon systems.  Following completion of the spent carbon profile and acceptance process, our service technician mobilizes on-site to remove and package the spent carbon in UN/D.O.T approved containers. 

The service technicians will inspect the adsorber internals and perform minor repairs prior to refilling the adsorber with fresh, activated carbon.  Arrangements are made for transportation of the spent carbon to one of our state-of-the art fully permitted reactivation facilities.  A Certificate of Reactivation can be issued for each shipment received at our facilities.  This certifies that the spent carbon has been recycled in a manner that meets or exceeds all applicable RCRA and Benzene NESHAP regulations.

Siemens also provides carbon reactivation and recycling services and reactivated carbon.
