Activated Carbon Treatability Testing

Siemens Water Technologies provides laboratory testing and computer modeling capabilities to evaluate, identify and solve adsorption related problems in vapor and liquid phase treatment applications.

State-of-the-art Laboratory
Siemens' company-owned testing facility
Siemens Water Technologies operates a fully equipped carbon testing laboratory that uses ASTM, AWWA and internally developed standard test methods to fully characterize virgin and spent carbons.  Our treatability testing services provide GAC usage estimates necessary for the proper selection and sizing of your activated carbon adsorber bed.  Liquid phase predictions are conducted based upon the bottle point isotherm method and rapid small-scale column testing (RSSCT).  For gas phase applications, adsorption isotherms can be generated under controlled conditions using a Cahn Model TG-131 thermogravimeteric analyzer.
